- HackerOS 4.6 (2026/05/06 11:14)HackerOS is a live Linux distribution based on Debian's "Testing" branch and designed for regular users, gamers and cybersecurity enthusiasts. Some of its features include an optimised XanMod Linux kernel for faster boot times and reduced resource usage, out-of-the-box support for NVIDIA graphics cards, and a collection of cybersecurity tools, such as enhanced firewalls and intrusion detection software. The distribution uses the KDE Plasma desktop.
- HAOS 17.3 (2026/05/06 10:16)Home Assistant OS (HAOS) is an independently-developed, Linux-based operating system optimised to run Home Assistant, an open-source home automation tool. It focuses on local control and privacy. HAOS uses Docker as its container engine and deploys Home Assistant Supervisor as a container. Home Assistant Supervisor in turn uses the Docker container engine to control Home Assistant Core and Apps in separate containers. The product is available for various single-board computers, like Raspberry Pi or ODROID, but it also supports x86-64 systems with UEFI boot mode.

It uses the systemd service manager which, as it is not available in the upstream Gentoo repositories, the project itself provides in the form of binary packages. The distribution favours the epkg package manager, a highly simplistic wrapper over portage, specially designed for precompiled binaries. Argent Linux maintains a semi-rolling release model, with a stable branch and a development (testing) branch.

The distribution features a web-based user interface and an online app store with a large range of applications, anything from web hosting, productivity and finance to media streaming, networking, automation, artificial intelligence, development and Bitcoin mining. umbrelOS is developed by the US-based Umbrel, Inc., which also sells palm-sized personal home computers with up to 4 terabytes of storage.

It uses a custom-built package manager called "Luet", which acts as a front-end for container-based software. The distribution's main features are minimalism and small footprint, ease of use, native vanilla Linux kernels, and support for most important cloud technologies. MocaccinoOS is offered in several variants, including live images with GNOME, KDE Plasma, MATE and Xfce desktops, as well as command-line-only "Minimal Desktop" edition.

It includes a composited graphical user interface, a dynamic linker, a syntax-highlighting text editor and a network stack. Some of the features of ToaruOS include virtual machine integration for absolute mouse and automatic display sizing in VirtualBox and VMware Workstation, a Unix-like terminal interface including a feature-rich terminal emulator and several familiar utilities, and optional third-party ports including GCC, Binutils and Python.
- SolydXK 13-202605 (2026/05/05 00:00)SolydX and SolydK are Debian-based distributions with the Xfce and KDE desktops respectively. SolydXK aims to be simple to use, providing an environment that is both stable and secure. SolydXK is an open-source alternative for small businesses, non-profit organisations and home users. The project started as an unofficial variant of Linux Mint's "Debian" edition with KDE as the default desktop, but it was later given its own identity as SolydK. SolydX was added after Linux Mint dropped its Debian-based flavour that used the Xfce desktop. The project also has a rolling release branch, called Enthusiast's Editions, which used Debian Testing as a base.

It features various user interface enhancements, an initial setup module called OOBE, the NebiOS App Runtime (napp-runtime) portable application format with bubblewrap containerization, improved gaming performance with Steam Proton integration, a kernel switcher for easy multi-kernel installation, and the Wine compatibility layer for running some Windows applications. NebiOS is intended as a general-purpose operating system for daily computing tasks, including creative work and gaming.
- AlmaLinux 10.2-beta1 (2026/05/04 22:23)AlmaLinux OS is an open-source, community-driven project that is built from the source code of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). AlmaLinux is a completely binary compatible fork of RHEL and it is maintained by AlmaLinux OS Foundation which is a register non-profit.
