- Milis 2.3-2026.06.15 (2026/06/21 12:03)Milis Linux is an independently-developed Linux distribution supported by Akdeniz University in Antalya, Turkey. It is built using the Linux From Scratch (LFS) project and it includes a custom package management utility called Milis Paket Sistemi (MPS). Milis Linux deploys Wayland as the default graphic server with the labwc window-stacking compositor, the Waybar Wayland bar and Sakura terminal emulator to create a functional desktop user interface.
- AOSC 20260621 (2026/06/21 11:00)AOSC OS an independently maintained Linux distribution based on the Linux kernel and various software components, using a custom package manager called oma which works with Deb packages for package management. AOSC OS is targeted at experienced Linux users and optimised for use on personal devices. It aims to provide a solid out-of-the-box experience, simplified system administration and a reliable work environment.
- GXDE 25.4.1 (2026/06/21 10:18)GXDE OS is a desktop-oriented Linux distribution that combines Debian with Deepin Desktop Environment (DDE), developed by the deepin project. It is based on Debian's "Testing" branch. It ships with up-to-date Linux kernel, base system and applications, and it includes a "Spark Store", a software application marketplace with support for Android applications. The distribution is available for the aarch64 and x86_64 processor architectures.
- PCLinuxOS 2026.06.20 (2026/06/20 20:47)PCLinuxOS is a user-friendly Linux distribution with out-of-the-box support for many popular graphics and sound cards, as well as other peripheral devices. The bootable live DVD provides an easy-to-use graphical installer and the distribution sports a wide range of popular applications for the typical desktop user, including browser plugins and full multimedia playback. The intuitive system configuration tools include Synaptic for package management, Addlocale to add support to many languages and Mylivecd to create a customised live CD.
- PorteuX 2.7 (2026/06/20 19:25)PorteuX is a Linux distribution based on Slackware Linux, inspired by Slax and Porteus and available to the public for free. Its main goal is to be fast, small, portable (run from a thumb drive), modular and optionally immutable. It is pre-configured for basic usage, including lightweight applications for each one of the seven desktop environments (Cinnamon, GNOME, KDE Plasma, LXDE, LXQt, MATE and Xfce) available. No browser is included, but an app store is provided for downloading any of the most popular browsers, as well as other applications.
- CalamaroOS 20260620 (2026/06/20 17:35)CalamaroOS is a Gentoo-based Linux distribution for the desktop, using either KDE Plasma or Xfce desktop environment. It features the Calamares system installer, out-of-the-box support for Flatpak packages, support for BTRFS, XFS and F2FS filesystems, and the systemd software suite for system and service management. The project's goal is to bring the power of Gentoo Linux to an average user by eliminating the complex and time-consuming process associated with the classic Gentoo install method.
- butrelinux 20260620 (2026/06/20 11:55)butrelinux is an immutable Linux distribution derived from the CentOS-based edition of Bluefin. It features the KDE Plasma desktop. The distribution uses the Anaconda system installer for hard disk installation, includes support for NVIDIA graphics cards, and provides out-of-the-box support for Distrobox containers and Flatpak packages.
- VailuxOS 1.6.0.9 (2026/06/20 00:41)VailuxOS is a German, desktop-oriented Linux distribution based on Ubuntu's long-term support (LTS) branch or Debian's "Stable" branch. The project's primary goal is to make the transition from Windows to Linux as seamless as possible by maintaining familiar ways of working and workflows. The distribution uses the KDE Plasma desktop.
- Slackel 9.0-beta2 (2026/06/19 23:11)Slackel is a Linux distribution and live CD based on Slackware Linux and Salix. It is fully compatible with both. It uses the current version of Slackware and the latest version of the KDE desktop. The Slackel disc images are offered in two different forms - installation and live.
- LazyLinux 20260619 (2026/06/19 21:43)LazyLinux is a Void-based desktop Linux distribution with Xfce as the preferred desktop and a vast collection of pre-installed software. It intends to be user-friendly and usable right after installation. The distribution ships with many popular productivity and multimedia applications, such as Brave browser, Thunderbird email client, LibreOffice office suite, GIMP image manipulation program, Inkscape vector graphics editor, VLC media player and many others. LazyLinux also provides out-of-the-box support for Flatpak packages.
- RasPiOS 2026-06-18 (2026/06/19 16:44)Raspberry Pi OS (formerly Raspbian) is a free operating system based on Debian GNU/Linux and optimised for the Raspberry Pi hardware (the armhf processor architecture). Raspberry Pi OS comes with over 35,000 packages, or pre-compiled software bundled in a nice format for easy installation on a Raspberry Pi. The initial build was completed in June of 2012, but the distribution continues to be active developed with an emphasis on improving the stability and performance of as many Debian packages as possible. Although Debian produces a distribution for the arm architecture, it is compatible only with versions later than the one used on the Raspberry Pi (ARMv7-A CPUs and higher vs the Raspberry Pi's ARMv6 CPU).
- MidnightBSD 4.0.6 (2026/06/19 01:11)MidnightBSD is a FreeBSD-derived operating system. A critical goal of the project is to create an easy-to-use desktop environment with graphical ports management, and system configuration using GNUstep. The vast majority of the operating system will maintain a BSD license. MidnightBSD was forked from FreeBSD 6.1 beta.
