StratOS Linux is an Arch-based Linux distribution which uses scripts from Bedrock Linux to include various packages and repositories from other Linux distributions. It provides several desktop variants featuring the GNOME desktop as well as the Hyprland and the Niri Wayland compositors. The project also develops several custom tools, such as StratVIM (a fork of the Neovim text editor), Rockers (a custom package manager wrapper able to fetch and install binary and source packages from other Linux distributions and from Flatpaks), Stratmacs (a custom Emacs configuration), grab (a fetch script), and Maneki-Neko (a Welcome application).

NebiOS is an Ubuntu-based desktop Linux distribution with a custom Wayland compositor called NebiDE (based on Wayfire). It features various user interface enhancements, an initial setup module called OOBE, the NebiOS App Runtime (napp-runtime) portable application format with bubblewrap containerization, improved gaming performance with Steam Proton integration, a kernel switcher for easy multi-kernel installation, and the Wine compatibility layer for running some Windows applications. NebiOS is intended as a general-purpose operating system for daily computing tasks, including creative work and gaming.

Omarchy is an Arch-based Linux distribution featuring the Hyprland tiling window manager. It ships with what a modern software developer would need to be productive immediately, including Neovim, Spotify, Chromium, Typora, Alacritty, LibreOffice and Zoom. The distribution boots into a text-mode system installer that downloads the latest packages from the Arch Linux repositories during installation to build a complete Hyprland desktop.

MocaccinoOS is an independently-developed Linux distribution that has its origins in source-based Gentoo Linux and Sabayon Linux. It uses a custom-built package manager called "Luet", which acts as a front-end for container-based software. The distribution's main features are minimalism and small footprint, ease of use, native vanilla Linux kernels, and support for most important cloud technologies. MocaccinoOS is offered in several variants, including live images with GNOME, KDE Plasma, MATE and Xfce desktops, as well as command-line-only "Minimal Desktop" edition.

ML4W OS is an Arch Linux-based distribution featuring a heavily customised Hyprland tiling compositor. The project specialises primarily in creating advanced configuration for Hyprland, so called "dotfiles", which are available for installation on several other Arch-based distributions, as well as Fedora and openSUSE. However, the live ML4W OS ISO image is a standalone, full-featured Linux distribution with all Hyprland configuration files, applications, icons, themes and wallpapers included. It can be installed to a hard disk using a custom text-mode system installer. The project also provides extensive documentation about setting up and configuring Hyprland.

FuguIta is an OpenBSD live operating system featuring portable workplace, low hardware requirements, additional software, and partial support for Japanese. It strives to provide a live environment which is as close to an installed OpenBSD system as possible. The live environment can be saved to storage and reloaded in a later session, enabling persistent storage and consistent use.

RakuOS is an immutable Linux distribution based on Fedora, with a choice of KDE Plasma, GNOME, niri, and COSMIC desktops. It combines an immutable, read-only base system with the full package flexibility of a traditional Linux distribution. While the core system updates atomically and can be instantly rolled back, the system's persistent overlay lets the user install any package, either through the dnf package manager or the distribution's own software center called RakuOS Software. Installation of Flatpak packages is also supported. RakuOS uses the performance-optimised p03 Linux kernel and also includes a graphical CPU scheduling utility to fine-tune the system for gaming, workloads or power efficiency use cases.

Calculate Linux is a Gentoo-based family of three distinguished distributions. Calculate Directory Server (CDS) is a solution that supports Windows and Linux clients via LDAP + SAMBA, providing proxy, mail and Jabbers servers with streamlined user management. Calculate Linux Desktop (CLD) is a workstation and client distribution (with a choice of Cinnamon, KDE Plasma, LXQt, MATE or Xfce desktops) that includes a wizard to configure a connection to Calculate Directory Server. Calculate Linux Scratch (CLS) is a live CD with a build framework for creating a custom distribution.

CapivaraOS is a Brazilian desktop and server Linux distribution based on Fedora. It is available in three desktop editions - "Marsh" (KDE Plasma), "Snout" (GNOME) and "Pup" (Xfce), as well as a separate home server variant called "HERD". All editions are localised into Brazilian Portuguese. The distribution uses the Anaconda system installer and includes many popular web, productivity and multimedia applications.

Ludora is a gaming-ready, Fedora-based Linux distribution with built-in bootable snapshots. It takes an automatic snapshot of the system before and after every package update and places it in the GRUB boot menu, thus offering a one-click rollback in cases when a problematic update breaks the system. The distribution also provides a full gaming stack with a custom kernel, the Steam client, and all the tools that facilitate gaming on Linux. Ludora uses the KDE Plasma desktop in its live mode and the Calamares system installer with a choice of languages, filesystems and desktop options.

Chimera Linux is an independently-developed distribution which uses an unusual combination of technologies behind the scenes. It deploys BSD userland command-line tools, the Clang/LLVM compiler toolchain, the Dinit service manager and the APK for package management utility. The distribution strives to keep the design simple while still providing the experience and features most users want, such as multiple desktop environments, Flatpak support, a graphical package manager, and easy access to desktop configuration tools. Chimera Linux does not have a system installer, rather it provides manual command-line instructions to bootstrap the operating system from a live environment.

CentOS as a group is a community of open source contributors and users which started in 2003 and has been sponsored by Red Hat since 2014. CentOS Linux versions up to CentOS Linux 8 are 100% compatible rebuilds of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, in full compliance with Red Hat's redistribution requirements. In 2020 it was announced CentOS Linux is being discontinued and replaced with CentOS Stream, a developer-focused distribution which acts as a middle-stream between Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
